We offer our German Courses at the following levels: Elementary (A1/A2), Intermediate (B1/B2) and Advanced (C1/C2).
The CEFR Language Levels
A: Basic User
A1 – Beginner
You can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. E.g. introduce yourself, ask and answer questions about personal details and interact in a simple way, if the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

A2 – Elementary
You can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of everyday topics (e.g. shopping, hobbies, work,…) and talk about those topics. You can communicate in simple situations.

B: Independent
B1 – Intermediate
You can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters. You can deal with most situations while travelling. And you can produce simple connected speech about familiar topics, events, dreams, opinions and plans.

B2 – Upper Intermediate
You can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field of specialisation. You can interact spontaneously and fluently, so that a normal conversation with native speakers is possible without strain. You can express yourself clearly and in detail on many topics, explain your viewpoint on a current issue and mention advantages and disadvantages of various options.

C: Proficient User
C1 – Advanced
You can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning. You can express yourself fluently and spontaneously without having to search for words very often. You can use language flexibly in social, academic and professional situations. You can express yourself clearly and in a structured and detailed manner on complex issues.

C2 Proficient
You can effortlessly understand virtually everything you read or hear. You can summarise information from a variety of written and oral sources, giving reasons and explanations in a coherent presentation. You can express yourself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, and can also make finer nuances of meaning clear even in more complex situations.
